Instructions
Blend all the ingredients in a small high-powered blender until the mixture is perfectly smooth, anywhere between 30–60 seconds (depending on the power of your blender).If using a larger blender, double or triple the recipe to ensure a smooth blend.
Pour the mousse into two (or more) transparent serving cups and refrigerate for at least 45 minutes to firm up the texture. The mousse should thicken and develop a soft, airy texture as it chills.
Add the whipped cream on top if using. Then sprinkle some of the optional chopped hazelnuts as a garnish. Enjoy your hazelnut mousse!
Notes
Use bananas that are just beginning to get spotty. They should be sweet but not overly ripe so the banana flavor isn't overpowering.
Although even if you use very spotty bananas, the recipe will still work! You will just taste more of the banana flavor.
