Easy 3-ingredient matcha yogurt to elevate your breakfast! Make this green tea yogurt bowl with any vegan (Greek) yogurt for a creamy morning treat!

Ingredients and Substitutions
- Yogurt: Use any plant-based yogurt, vegan Greek yogurt, or even vegan quark for a thicker version!
- Matcha powder: You can use culinary-grade matcha powder here, though opt for ceremonial-grade for the most vibrant color and taste!
- Liquid sweetener: Adds sweetness to balance the earthy bitterness of matcha
- Use any sweetener of choice, such as agave, maple syrup, date syrup, or even this vegan honey lavender syrup!

Step-by-step Instructions
Whisk yogurt and matcha powder until smooth. Stir in liquid sweetener, taste, and adjust for desired sweetness.
Serve it as is, or add your favorite toppings of choice to make it a full matcha yogurt bowl!

Top Tips
- Use a small whisk to stir. A $2 purchase of the whisk will go a long way! It will also help you whip up many of the vegan aiolis and sauces quickly!
- Customize your toppings!
- For healthier options, opt for fresh berries, frozen berries (similar to my frozen berry overnight oats), nuts, seeds, or nut butter.
- For more indulgent toppings, try adding some cacao nibs, Oreos (similar to my cookies and cream overnight oats) or try this easy chocolate spread!

Storage and Meal Prep Instructions
Store your healthy matcha yogurt in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
For meal prepping/making larger batches, make a “concentrated” matcha yogurt first. So for example, if you’re tripling the recipe, you would then need 3 cups yogurt with 3 teaspoons of matcha powder and 6 teaspoons of liquid sweetner.
So first combine 1 cup of yogurt with 3 teaspoons of matcha powder. Whisk until smooth, then mix in 6 teaspoons of liquid sweetener. Add this mixture to the remaining 2 cups of plain yogurt and stir well. It’s easier to blend this way!
